Saban prioritizes underclassmen

The dead period ended on Thursday morning and coaches from all over the country flocked to Alabama to get in with top prospects, and the Crimson Tide staff was no different. Most of it was out of state, but Nick Saban checked out some of the top juniors on the program's radar.

While top class of 2014 priorities like Rashaan Evans, Christian Miller and Matthew Elam were seen by members of the Alabama coaching staff on Thursday, Nick Saban stayed within state lines.

He stopped by the schools of the top underclassmen in the state, including the schools of five-star Daron Payne, four-stars Tyler Carr and Kerryon Johnson, three-star Nick Gibson and class of 2016 standout Malik Miller, among others.
