Alabama already has a quartet of junior commitments on offense in four-star running back DeSherrius Flowers, four-star offensive guards Dallas Warmack and Lester Cotton, as well as three-star wide receiver Daylon Charlot.
To see who the possible additions are over the next year on offense, BamaMag.com examines the offensive recruits in position-by-position fashion.
Torrance Gibson | 6-foot-4, 207 lbs | Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage | Five-star, No. 3 QB
Skinny: A dual-threat and state champion, this five-star had a banner junior season in leading the dynamic America Heritage offense to a state championship. He's determined to play quarterback at the next level and holds a verbal offer from Nick Saban and company. Will Lane Kiffin be his position coach at the next level?
Jarrett Stidham | 6-foot-4, 190 lbs | Stephensville (Tex.) High | Four-star, No. 9 QB
Skinny: Converted from playing wide receiver early in his career, this dual-threat has come into his own as a thrower. Alabama saw him in person at camp last summer, at the same one Ricky Town earned his offer at. Stidham was passed by initially, then Town committed, but the staff has since been back in to see the Texan in person and he picked up the offer.
Kai Locksley | 6-foot-4, 180 lbs | Baltimore (Md.) Gilman | Four-star, No. 21 QB
Skinny: Yet another signal caller known for his athleticism, Locksley is among the most coveted on the East Coast. He has family ties to the ACC, but has been taking his recruitment slowly. Alabama offered in September, and he is somewhat close to former teammate and current Alabama sophomore Cyrus Jones.
Commitments (1) - Flowers
Kerryon Johnson | 6-foot, 185 lbs | Madison (Ala.) Academy | Four-star, No. 3 RB
Skinny: Johnson is listed as an elite running back on Scout, but he's also an elite safety talent. As of today, Saban sees the No. 2 prospect in-state on the defensive side of the football, though he's arguably the most talented offensive player not named Racean Thomas in the state regardless of class. Auburn and Florida State are the top threats to ‘Bama right now, and each of those schools covets him as a ball carrier.
Taj Griffin | 5-foot-9, 168 lbs | Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern | Four-star, No. 6 RB
Skinny: The fastest player on this list is the versatile junior, who is known for hitting the home run for one of Georgia's top football programs. Alabama offered him in the fall, joining most of the elites in the South in pursuit of Griffin. He's not very public about his recruitment at this time, though he doesn't seem close to ending the process.
Chris Warren | 6-foot-2, 220 lbs | Rockwall (Tex.) High | Four-star, No. 12 RB
Skinny: The son of the former NFL standout with the same name, this big junior was hot over the summer when he added several offers, including one from Alabama. He severely injured his leg shortly after and missed the bulk of his junior campaign, but he's said to be on the right track to play as close to 100 percent as a senior. Warren has Alabama among his top schools, along with Ohio State, the last time he mentioned any standouts.
Nick Gibson | 5-foot-10, 197 lbs | Pinson (Ala.) Pinson Valley | Three-star RB
Skinny: Gibson earned his scholarship offer last weekend, after a standout junior season that included a 400-plus yard performance late in the campaign. Alabama visited with him multiple times over the last month, and he visited Tuscaloosa as well. Gibson is a balanced running back that fits multiple offenses, as a part of arguably the deepest running back group in the state of Alabama's recruiting history.
Bradrick Shaw | 6-foot-1, 203 lbs | Hoover (Ala.) High | Three-star RB
Skinny: Another in-state standout, Shaw learned of his offer last weekend as well. The high school teammate of Marlon Humphrey, as well as fellow 2015 Crimson Tide offerees Darrel Williams and Christian Bell, there's a Hoover-to-Alabama pipeline growing. Shaw was surprised by the offer, but admitted that it won't slow his progress or speed up his eventual commitment.
Jovon Robinson | 6-foot, 185 lbs | Millidgeville (Ga.) Georgia Military Academy | Four-star JUCO RB
Skinny: The one-time Auburn running back has publicly admitted that he wants to play at Alabama in order to be able to take on his former school, and he ran with plenty of purpose in pursuit of his scholarship offer as a freshman at Georgia Militaty Academy. Robinson tallied well over 2,000 yards in leading his squad to the JUCO national title game, falling to East Mississippi Community College and a pair of signees in D.J. Pettway and Jarran Reed. Robinson is a 2015 recruit, but 2014 GMC Alabama signee Ty Smith may be in his ear a bit after blocking for his gaudy total in the fall.
Commitments (1) - Charlot
DaMarkus Lodge | 6-foot-2, 188 lbs | Cedar Hill (Tex.) High | Five-star, No. 2 WR
Skinny: Scout's newest five-star wide receiver, coming off a season in which he hauled in 72 passes for 1,255 yards and 22 touchdowns, Lodge also recently added both Alabama and LSU to his stacked offer list. The junior is already known for making clutch catches with all eyes on him and comes from a solid high school program used to sending wide receivers into the SEC.
George Campbell | 6-foot-3 1/2, 185 lbs | Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake | Five-star, No. 3 WR
Skinny: Campbell was also offered of late, and he may be the "freakiest" of this wide receiver group for the entire class. He's as fast as is it gets, but can clock a sub-4.4 in the 40-yard dash, or even much better than that, on a consistent basis. He's done so on laser timing at the Under Armour combine the last two years and even performed well as one of only a few juniors invited to Nike's The Opening over the summer. Campbell was once committed to Michigan, but backed off and maintains that he's wide open going forward.
John Burt | 6-foot-4, 170 lbs | Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln | Four-star, No. 11 WR
Skinny: A three-sport star at Lincoln, Burt is a quiet receiver by today's football standards, but he doesn't play like it. At one of the top schools in Florida, the long and rangy wideout sees top competition every day and embraces it. Burt is an SEC/ACC prospect and will likely take his time with the recruiting process.
Da'Vante Phillips | 6-foot-1, 175 lbs | Miami (Fla.) Central | Four-star , No. 13 WR
Skinny: Staying in the Sunshine state, Phillips is a one-time Florida Gator commitment. He backed off in December, citing a rush to judgment as additional offers came in. Phillips will now take the process slowly and attend several camps and combines over the next few months. If Alabama is one of his planned trips, things could get interesting.
Devante Peete | 6-foot-5, 198 lbs | Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas | Four-star, No. 19 WR
Skinny: As one can tell, wide receiver talent in Florida is not lacking for 2015, and Peete is the longest of them all. He has Alabama firmly in his top five along with Ohio State, Florida State, Miami and LSU, though he doesn't plan on ending his recruitment until things become official about a year from now.
Devonaire Clarington | 6-foot-5 1/2, 220 lbs | Miami (Fla.) Westminster Christian | Four-star, No. 3 TE
Skinny: Sitting atop the board is the catch-first South Florida product. He's held the scholarship offer for some time and Mario Cristobal has been in to see him within the last few weeks, too. He's in no rush to end the process and admits that he hasn't seen enough college campuses just yet, so getting to all of his top schools is his likely priority this spring and summer.
Gragg admitted he nearly pulled the trigger to ‘Bama in the fall.
Will Gragg | 6-foot-4, 247 lbs | Pine Bluff (Ark.) High | Four-star, No. 5 TE
Skinny: Gragg, an Arkansas legacy, has called Alabama his leader in the past and currently has the Crimson Tide in his top five. He was in town last weekend for junior day and reported having a "great" time with fellow Arkansas junior K.J. Hill, who was offered while the two were in Tuscaloosa together.
Jalen Harris | 6-foot-5, 240 lbs | Montgomery (Ala.) St. James | Three-star TE
Skinny: Harris doesn't hold an offer quite yet but the staff is interested in the combination prospect. He can either block or get down the field and haul in a few, which is why SEC schools have begun offering the three-star. He was in Tuscaloosa last weekend as well.
Tavin Richardson | 6-foot-4, 206 lbs | Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes | Three-star TE
Skinny: Will Alabama continue to recruit him as a wide receiver or tight end? He has a big frame but can flat-out go up for the football. Richardson has solid hands, and a basketball background, so he knows how to shield the defender away from the football.
Interior Offensive Linemen
Commitments (2) – Warmack, Cotton
Javon Patterson | 6-foot-4, 295 lbs | Petal (Miss.) High | Four-star, No. 3 OG
Skinny: Patterson has seen Tuscaloosa several times and always mention the school near the top of his list along with Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Auburn. The battle for one of the best will be one of the most contested in the South over the next year or so. His close friend and 2014 teammate Jesse Jackson inked with the Bulldogs last week.
Jalin Barnett | 6-foot-4, 290 lbs | Lawton (Okla.) High | Four-star, No. 4 OG
Skinny: Barnett was taken back by the Alabama offer in October, though he hasn't yet made it to Tuscaloosa. He says he plans on playing right tackle in college, but Scout likes him on the interior. He grew up an Oklahoma State fan and recently visited Oklahoma for junior day, so can UA get him out of Big 12 country?
Richie Petitbon | 6-foot-4, 301 lbs | Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga College High | Four-star, No. 5 OG
Skinny: After a very impressive showing at the Under Armour combine, Petitbon captured the attention of most media in attendance. He has ties to several schools, especially local Maryland, but the junior has commonly placed Alabama atop his early list, though it has fluctuated more than once. Petitbon earned his offer in camp over the summer.
Tyler Carr | 6-foot-5, 295 lbs | Gadsden (Ala.) Southside | Four-star, No. 11 OG
Skinny: Carr is an Auburn legacy, and has maintained that Georgia is the school in pursuit the most. Alabama, Vanderbilt and now Arkansas are right there as well, in what's shaping up to be an all-SEC battle for the two-way standout. Carr is known for his brute strength and physicality.
Martez Ivey | 6-foot-5, 281 lbs | Apopka (Fla.) High | Five-star, No. 1 OT
Skinny: Ivey is Scout's top player in America for the class of 2015, and he does it in dominating fashion. He's viewed as the Cameron Robinson of this group, so will he follow the top senior to Tuscaloosa? Several other players are in the mix here, though in-state Florida may be the school to beat at this time.
Matthew Burrell | 6-foot-6, 285 lbs | Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton | Four-star, No. 6 OT
Skinny: Burrell has a bevvy of offers, including Alabama, and there's been plenty of talk about him joining close friend and training partner Da'Shawn Hand in Tuscaloosa. Fellow area-trainee Tim Settle is also in the same camp, which would bring a Virginia five-star to campus for the third straight cycle. One source close to the group says Burrell could be the best of the bunch.
Drew Richmond | 6-foot-6, 290 lbs | Memphis (Tenn.) University School | Four-star, No. 11 OT
Skinny: Richmond is another frequent Tuscaloosa visitor, and another that the staff feels good about despite strong pushes from in-state Tennessee, Ohio State as well as others. He has been high profile for some time, but has handled it well and seemingly gotten better in the process. Richmond has great length and range already, so expect the process for him to be a competitive one.
Kaleb Kim | 6-foot-4, 281 lbs | Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek | Four-star, No. 30 OT
Skinny: Kim was in town over last weekend and picked up the offer at that time. It was his initial Tuscaloosa experience, and he was surprised that he learned of a verbal scholarship offer while in town. His stock is more recently on the rise compared to several others on this list, so he's that much further from a decision though he's got SEC written all over him with Georgia, Florida and Auburn joining the Crimson Tide on his offer list.
