Jones returns to Tuscaloosa

Last weekend, Kendell Jones caught a lot of people by surprise with a very good showing against SEC offensive line prospects at the Birmingham NFTC, resulting in an invitation to The Opening this summer. The news traveled fast, and the Alabama coaching staff was sure to mention it during Jones' Saturday trip to Tuscaloosa.

Growing up an Alabama fan, Kendell Jones has always wanted to play for Nick Saban's Crimson Tide. At one point it may have been a longshot, but now the Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville standout is inching closer and closer towards a scholarship offer.

The coaching staff hosted him in march and did so again over the weekend, as he took in Alabama's initial spring football scrimmage on Saturday.
