Although the annual rite of the head football coach and three players from each SEC school meeting with the media in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover begins Monday, Alabama and Coach Nick Saban and players will not be on the podium until the final hours of the final day on Thursday, July 17.The players who will join Saban are safety Landon Collins, wide receiver Amari Cooper, and wide receiver Christion Jones. For the record, we guessed Jones and thought either Amari Cooper or T.J. Yeldon would be one other representative. We missed on the defensive representative though, thinking that linebacker Trey DePriest would meet the press. In addition to covering the coaches and players, members of the media – at least a few of them – will predict the final finish and eventual SEC champion and also choose a pre-season All-SEC team.
