Individually, sophomore Derrick Henry rushed for 70 yards on 13 attempts and scored twice in the second quarter. One was an 8-yard run up the middle and he also contributed with a 41-yard screen pass touchdown reception from quarterback Blake Sims. His running mate, T.J. Yeldon, finished with 114 yards on 13 attempts and an 8.8 average per carry for the afternoon. He had a first quarter touchdown run of nine yards and added a one-yard plunge in the second. Yeldon recorded three pass receptions for 45 yards, the longest being 17. The junior is sixth all-time in school history with 30 rushing touchdowns tying him with Eddie Lacy (2010-12). His 14th career 100-yard rushing game places him third all-time at The Capstone, trailing the total of 15 registered by Bobby Humphrey (1985-88) and Shaun Alexander (1996-99).
