Duke Women's Basketball Hammers Bama

The Alabama women’s basketball team fell to the seventh-ranked Duke Blue Devils, 90-40, Sunday night at Foster Auditorium. The Crimson Tide drops to 1-1 on the year while the Blue Devils open the season at 1-0.

Alabama freshman guard Hannah Cook led all scorers for the Tide with 19 points on 7-of-19 shooting and added three rebounds and two steals to her stat line.

Alabama returns to action on Tuesday as it wraps up its three-game homestand with a matchup against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CST at Foster Auditorium.
