Iron Bowl Recruiting Notes

Alabama hosted Auburn on Saturday with a who’s who list of prospects in attendance and BamaMag has the latest on many elites as of Monday morning.

The 2014 Iron Bowl lived up to the hype on the field and many of America's top recruits made it a point to take in the game as well.

Many top priority targets visited for the day, like Daron Payne, Kendall Sheffield and prospects committed elsewhere like Terry Godwin (Georgia), K.J. Hill (Arkansas), Drew Richmond (Ole Miss) did the same while Nick Saban hosted a big official visitor slate featuring several Alabama commitments and targets alike.

After plenty of phone calls, texts and direct messages, members can learn of each and every official visit that took place, including the latest on running back Damien Harris (pictured) and Alabama's chances with him and how the longer trips may have sealed the deal for multiple commitments the Crimson Tide is looking to hold onto down the stretch like Minkah Fitzpatrick and Ronnie Harrison, while class headliner Blake Barnett was also in town for his official visit.

Underclassmen elites, like UA legacy Ben Davis and 2017 five-star prospects DeAngelo Gibbs and Dylan Moses, made the event a who's who of elites in at least three different recruiting classes.

Only BamaMag has the latest on each and every name on the list.
