Archie Griffin, the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy (1974 and 1975), was an outstanding tailback for Ohio State. Griffin was in New York for this year's Heisman presentation and spent a few moments with 'BAMA Magazine/BamaMag.com.
Alabama and Ohio State will headline college football news in upcoming weeks as the Crimson Tide, ranked first in the nation, will meet the No. 4 Buckeyes in a semifinal game in the inaugural College Football Playoff. Bama and OSU play in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 with the winner advancing to the national championship game in Dallas Jan. 12.
Griffin also sends his regards to a former assistant coach under Earle Bruce at Ohio State -- one Nick Saban.
