Mother Of Amari Cooper Was Early Believer

Amari Cooper has obliterated all of the major receiving records at Alabama. Almost no one could have projected the prolific production from the Miami native when he chose the Crimson Tide three years ago.

Maybe someone, though, had an inkling of the magnificent career ahead for Amari Cooper. Michelle Green, mother of the Alabama All-America, realized at a very young age her son was gifted.

The touchdown-maker extraordinaire was an explosive play artist in the park as a youngster. Amari Cooper continued the trend at each successive level.

Alabama was the beneficiary of the confidence he inherited from a specific family member.

Amari and his Bama teammates return to the practice field this week. The Crimson Tide will be preparing to meet Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1, a semifinal game in the inaugural College Football Playoff.
