Bama Pro Day Precedes NFL Draft Day

The NFL scouting community representing all 32 teams descended upon Tuscaloosa Wednesday. Alabama held its annual Pro Day at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. Seventeen former Tide players participated in the event. Nick Saban, maestro of the talent-abundant group, has recruited well during his eight-year tenure at The Capstone.

Forty-one Alabama players were selected in six prior NFL Drafts (2009-14), 16 in the first round, five in the second, four in the third, three in the fourth, seven in the fifth, one in the sixth and five in the seventh. 'BAMA Magazine/ caught up with several of the 2015 draft eligible prospects after they completed the supervised drills - wide receivers Amari Cooper and DeAndrew White, offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio, safety Landon Collins, and outside linebacker Xzavier Dickson.

The NFL Draft will be at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago. Round 1 is April 30, followed by Rounds 2-3 on May 1, and Rounds 4-7 May 2. The Windy City, ending New York City's 50-year streak as host, will be the site for the eighth time. December of 1963 (1964 NFL Draft) was the last time Chicago was chosen.
