Tide’s First Practice Goes Indoors

Alabama’s football team began 2015 spring practice Friday working in the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility. The Crimson Tide will not practice again until Monday, March 13, because of The University’s spring break. The 15th and final practice will be the A-Day Game in Bryant-Denny Stadium April 18.

Alabama cornerback Cyrus Jones and Tide linebacker Denzel Devall were in black jerseys and not taking part in drills during the media viewing period.

Redshirt freshman Ronnie  Clark, who has been projected as a safety, linebacker, and fullback, was working with the running backs. He was injured last fall.

Tide tailback Kenyan Drake, who suffered a broken leg midway through last season, was participating.

Among the practice visitors was former Bama quarterback Scott Hunter (1968-70).

Bama Coach Nick Saban was to address the media later this evening following practice.
