Donta' Hall Remains Committed To Tide

BamaMag.com has confirmed that Danta' Hall remains on board with Alabama hoops at this time.

Donta' Hall, a 6-10, 235-pound frontline player, remains committed to Alabama pending an announcement of the staff changes according to Luverne (Ala.) High School Head Basketball Coach Richard Dorsey. The class of 2015 Scout three-star prospect inked with the Crimson Tide program during the early signing period in November.

"I think I can speak for him," said Coach Dorsey. "As far as right now Donta' Hall is still committed to Alabama but just like some of the other guys he is going to wait and see who they may retain as assistant coaches because he was real close to Coach (Antoine) Pettway due to the relationship they built during the recruiting process."

Asked for his star player's reaction to the news of Alabama dismissing Anthony Grant as the head basketball coach, Dorsey said, "I actually told Donta' after receiving a call from Coach Pettway. He and his Mom are still taking it pretty hard. Who the assistants are is very important to him."

Hall was twice honored as an ASWA First-Team Class 2A All-State performer.
