Dazon Ingram, coach go 1-on-1 with BamaMag

THEODORE, ALA. -- Alabama regained the commitment and subsequent signature of Mr. Basketball Dazon Ingram on Friday and 'Bama Magazine/BamaMag.com was on hand to sit down with the three-star and his coach for one-on-one interviews.

With some build up, increasing intrigue and even a fake-out Kentucky hat grab, Theodore (Ala.) point guard and three-star prospect Dazon Ingram announced his commitment to the school he had originally been slated to play for -- Alabama.

The Friday ceremony ended weeks of speculation after Ingram decommitted from the Crimson Tide following Anthony Grant's dismissal. New coach Avery Johnson had since been in contact, along with lead recruiter Antoine Pettway, and it helped Ingram go full-circle despite considering late interest from many programs.

'Bama Magazine/BamaMag.com was on hand and sat down with the point guard shortly after he made things official.

Bobcat coach Phillip Roebling was also the subject of a one-on-one interview and he had plenty of good things to say about the state's Mr. Basketball.
