Ryan Kelly Front And Center For Tide

Turnovers were on the minds of every Alabama player following the 43-37 upset loss to Ole Miss on Saturday evening. Ryan Kelly, the man initiating each play with a snap of the ball emphasized the importance of possessing the pigskin. A national television audience and stunned sold out Bryant-Denny crowd watched the Tide team unravel, surrendering five turnovers to the visitors.

Alabama accumulated 503 yards of total offense, rushing for 215 against the vaunted Rebels defense. Derrick Henry racked up 127 yards on 23 carries, the seventh time in his career past the century mark. The Tide has a 71-4 record since 2008 when rushing for more than 140 yards. Three teams have been spoilers. Ole Miss has managed the feat twice, 2014 and 2015, along with Auburn (2013) and Ohio State (2014).

Senior center Ryan Kelly, a game captain for the third time, met with the media following the disappointing defeat. Giveaways, quarterback play and the emotional toll were among the subjects addressed.
