Alabama commitment Kendell Jones is one of the most physically imposing prospects to come through a cycle in years, standing 6-foot-4, north of 350 pounds with relatively low body fat considering his frame. The five-star, pegged as the No. 20 overall talent in the class of 2016, picked Nick Saban's program in late May.
Starring at Kileen (Tex.) Shoemaker High, Jones has helped the Greywolves to a 6-2 season before a likely playoff push. His senior season is far from over and his recruitment could be as well, though he maintains his solidity to the Crimson Tide despite also being a priority for LSU, his childhood favorite, Texas, Arkansas and many others.
Jones, equipped with immense strength and power hence the "Hulk" nickname, took a trip to LSU last weekend. Alabama is likely to host him in November and he says he is still planning on taking all five of the allotted official visits.
