Alabama was in the news Tuesday morning after the arrests of Cam Robinson and Laurence "Hootie" Jones and their Tide teammates have publicly spoken out in support of them.
Tuesday wasn't the best of days for Alabama Crimson Tide football as Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones were arrested in their native Louisiana in the wee hours on gun and drug charges.
While no disciplinary action has yet been taken by Nick Saban, social media has allowed their UA teammates to speak on the matter, largely in support of the two.
Freshman safety Ronnie Harrison may have taken to Twitter the most. Fellow young players Bo Scarbrough and Shawndarius Jennings also took to Twitter, as did veteran Ryan Anderson, among others. Robinson and Jones were arrested in Monroe, Louisiana, their home town. Fellow class of 2014 member and Monroe native Cameron Sims also went public with his support.
