Most of Alabama's No. 1 recruiting class of 2016 is on campus, remainder to soon arrive

Alabama inked the No. 1 football recruiting class in February and its remaining signees are expected to begin life in Tuscaloosa this week.

Many have already made it and the rest are on the way.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will add more than a dozen additional football players over the next several days, stemming from the top signing class of 2016.

Blue chips like five-star Ben Davis and four-stars Lyndell WilsonJared Mayden and Shyheim Carter have all moved and settled in on campus over the weekend. Many other of the traditional signees, Trevon DiggsNigel KnottQuinnen WilliamsScott Lashley and others have done the same, although the complete class isn't yet on campus together.

BamaMag sources say five-star defensive lineman Kendell Jones and Scout100 running back B.J. Emmons are likely to move to Tuscaloosa this week. Emmons expects to make the trip from North Carolina on Wednesday.

"I'm excited, man!" he said Monday.

Jones, Emmons as well as Raekwon Davis and Aaron Robinson were among the signees with certain academic question marks beyond national signing day, but similar sources indicate all has been covered and each of the prospects announced on February 3 should be in place in the coming days.

Several from the class, which edged Ohio State and Florida State en route to its latest recruiting crown, enrolled in January in order to compete in spring practice. From that group, Jonah Williams and Jalen Hurts have made headlines for their on-field work while five-star junior college signee Charles Baldwin was dismissed from the roster for a violation of team rules.

Many of the new freshmen took to Twitter over the last few days to share the news of their college move:
