The Alabama Crimson Tide typically gets some big-time football prospect visitors over the full spectrum of its summer camp circuit but the initial camp of 2016 is as good as it gets as some three dozen-plus blue chips talents are expected in Tuscaloosa from Sunday through Wednesday.
The list begins with the No. 1 overall prospect in the country and a current UA verbal in Najee Harris, joined by fellow five-star commitment and linebacker VanDarius Cowan along with four-star pledges Tua Tagovailoa, Alex Leatherwood, Xavier McKinney, Chadarius Townsend, Brian Robinson and others.
Top uncommitted recruits on the list include Scout100 prospects Chris Allen, Maleik Gray, Jacoby Stevens and uncommitted in-state elites Nico Collins, Henry Ruggs and others will be there while the list of prospects committed elsewhere sits in double digits, too. Verbals from Ohio State, LSU, Auburn, Florida State, UCLA, Oklahoma and other programs are also to be in town along with double-digit class of 2018 offerees and other top underclassmen.
