The conference games originally scheduled for Sept. 15 will now be played on Dec. 1. The list includes Vanderbilt at Ole Miss, Tennessee at Florida and Auburn at LSU.
All non-conference games that were scheduled for Sept. 15 will be rescheduled by the participating institutions.
The SEC also announces that all of its football games scheduled for this weekend will take place as scheduled. The list of games includes South Carolina at Mississippi State on Thursday and Florida at Kentucky, Arkansas at Alabama, Richmond at Vanderbilt and Auburn at Syracuse on Saturday.
Participation in all other sports competition will be left to the discretion of each institution.
The Southeastern Conference Football Championship Game, rescheduled for Dec. 8 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, will kickoff at 8 p.m. Eastern and will be televised nationally by CBS Sports.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on Dec. 1, but tragic national events of last week postponed games scheduled for Sept. 15 and conference games from that date were moved to Dec. 1.
The Tennessee at Florida game, which was originally scheduled for Sept. 15 will move to Dec. 1 and will be televised live nationally by CBS Sports with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m. Eastern. Other conference games for Dec. 1 include Vanderbilt at Ole Miss and Auburn at LSU. Kickoff times and television coverage for those games will be announced at a later date.
Two of the six non-conference games scheduled for Sept. 15 have been moved to Dec. 1. Kentucky will visit Indiana for a 1 p.m. Eastern kickoff and Georgia will host Houston at 1 p.m. Eastern.
Announcements concerning other non-conferences games will be made at a later date.
If required by changing events or circumstances in the aftermath of the national tragedy of a week ago, adjustments could be made to this schedule.
