Watch No. 16 RB and Alabama commitment Brian Robinson's final carries for Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Hillcrest High School

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama running back commitment Brian Robinson capped a great senior season in a tough loss Friday night to the defending state champs. Scout was on hand and has his top totes from his final game as a Hillcrest High School Patriot.

Prospect Notes: The talk of 6A football in 2016 has been the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Hillcrest Patriots, led by four-star running back Brian Robinson and others, en route to an undefeated regular season. After an opening-round playoff win, their toughest test of the year came Friday night against defending state champion Spanish Fort (Ala.) High. Robinson, who was the primary focus of the Toros defense, faced fellow blue-chip recruits along the way and took his lumps early on. However, Robinson improved his effectiveness as the game wore on. When his team needed it most, he showcased power, grit and moves in the open field to move the chains in a 23-13 loss. The senior finished with 93 yards and a score on 22 carries, earning every bit of the final tally.

Recruiting Notes: Robinson remains committed to Alabama.
