Alabama OT Jonah Williams and Tide OL Must Block Clemson Front to Win

Jonah Williams and the Alabama offensive line are preparing to contend with a defensive unit ranked fifth in the nation with 49 sacks, third in tackles for loss and 19th in rush defense allowing 123.1 yards per game.

Alabama (no. 1, 14-0) surrendered 24 sacks (tied 40th nationally), averages 246.7 yards per game (11th nationally) on the ground but is near the bottom nationally at 108th in tackles for loss allowed.  The 6-5, 296 pound right tackle has performed at an all-star level and is considered one of the best first year players in the country regardless of position.  Clemson (no. 2, 13-1) is as aggressive and athletic as any team Bama has lined up against all season.

BamaMag.com spoke to Jonah Williams at the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Media Day for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
