True Frosh TE Miller Forristall Shows Promise

Tight end is a position that has become en vogue on all levels of football. O.J. Howard might be the first Tide player at the position to be chosen in the first round of the NFL Draft (modern era beginning 1967).

True freshman Miller Forristall is in the Alabama (no. 1, 14-0) rotation as a reserve.  The 6-5, 230 pound Cartersville HS (GA) product played in all 13 games and earned a starting spot in the SEC Championship Game against Florida.  He hauled in five passes for 73 yards n the season with a 32-yard reception against Arkansas being the longest.  Forristall, a January 2016 enrollee, shows promise as a receiver.

BamaMag.com spoke with Forristall at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Media Day for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
