Michigan Head Coach Jim Harbaugh Senior Bowl Hall of Fame 2017 Class Inductee

The Annual Senior Bowl Hall of Fame Induction Dinner was held on Thursday evening in downtown Mobile at the Battle House Hotel. Three alumni returned to the Port City to be honored by the country’s most prestigious College All-Star Classic

Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director and Crimson Tide Sports Network Football Analyst, Phil Savage, welcomed the 29th class – 1993 defensive back Blaine Bishop (Ball State), 2003 linebacker Lance Briggs (Arizona) and 1987 quarterback Jim Harbaugh (Michigan).  Voice of the Crimson Tide and Savage broadcasting partner, Eli Gold, was Master of Ceremonies, introducing each inductee prior to the video narrative.  Over 5,000 players have donned the Senior Bowl jersey in the 68-year history of the game with a mere 114 earning entrance into the exclusive club.  Former Mississippi State and current Dallas Cowboys player, Dak Prescott, was recognized as the 2017 Senior Bowl Rookie of the Year.

BamaMag.com sat down with the current University of Michigan Head Football Coach, Jim Harbaugh, to discuss recruiting and coaching quarterbacks, the potential of a neutral site game versus Alabama and “mining” the Southeast for talent.  A pair of encounters between Nick Saban and the Wolverines leader was broached in the one-on-one exclusive three-part interview.
