Evaluation Notes: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy standout Trey Sanders is one of the few two-way prospects at the national powerhouse, making plays as both a running back and safety on a stout 6-foot-1, near 220-pound frame. He runs the football with balance, a combination of speed and power, with the ability to make defenders miss as well. His improved play as the 2016 season went on saw Sanders net the first 200-yard rushing performance at IMG since Bo Scarbrough three years before he. As a defender, the rising junior is a downhill safety with great closing speed, above-average cover skills and pop at the point of attack.
Recruiting Notes: Sanders has been committed to Alabama for more than a year although he remains "open" with the process. He details why in the above video.
