For the second straight week, the Bruins (4-0) toppled and tossed a team out of the national rankings. Saturday, they beat Oregon State 38-7, sending the previously No. 19 ranked Beavers out of TheInsiders.com poll. Last week, they knocked Ohio State out of the poll with a 13-6 victory.
After a week off, UCLA has a chance at a trifecta when it meets No. 12 ranked Washington in Los Angeles on Oct. 13. The Huskies (3-0) continued their Cardiac Kids routine with a 31-28 comeback victory over Cal.
Meanwhile, Florida (4-0) closed to just seven points behind No. 1 Miami after crushing previously 21st ranked Mississippi State 52-0.
Texas A&M (4-0), Stanford (3-0), Washington State (4-0) and Toledo (4-0) were newcomers this week to TheInsiders.com Top 25, replacing Oregon State (1-2), Mississippi State (1-2), Michigan State (2-1) and Illinois (3-1).
