Lorenzo Washington, 6'5", 275, DT, from Grayson High School in Loganville, GA, has decided on two schools that will get official visits and several others are in the running for the other 3.
"I know I will take official visits to Alabama and Georgia. Schools that I
have not decided yet are North Carolina, South Carolina, Duke, Maryland,
Louisville, and Ohio State. My decision will probably come after I make some
more unofficial visits. I am going to Georgia Tech this Thursday and to the
Georgia game on Saturday," said Washington.
When asked what factors will play into Washington's decision, he added,
"Playing time. Even though that is not the biggest factor. Education is
important and how I would feel playing there and living there. The campus life
is important. How I fit in with the coaches and the team are important."
When we asked Washington about Alabama and Georgia, Washington replied, "I
really like Alabama. I have the best relationship with Coach Randolph than I
have ever had with any coach. I really like the campus."
On Georgia: "I feel the same way. I especially like Coach Richt. He reminds
me a lot of my HS Coach (Mickey Conn). Coach Richt is a fine Christian man.
Coach Garner is a good guy too."
Grayson HS is currently 4-2 and the next two wins should guarantee them a spot
in the play-offs.
