Sophomore LCB Charlie Peprah recorded his fourth interception of the season when he picked off a Matt Mauck pass at the Alabama goal line with 6:57 left in the first half vs. LSU ... Peprah's four interceptions matches his career high set last year as a freshman. For the season, Peprah has four "picks" for 93 yards and one TD ... Peprah now has eight career interceptions for 182 return yards and two TDs ... Senior WR Dre Fulgham caught two passes for 13 yards against LSUand he now has 1,010 career receiving yards for the Crimson Tide ... Freshman WR Tyrone Prothro caught three passes for 41 yards and had two kickoff returns for 63 yards.
ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (7-3, 3-3 SEC)
Arkansas quarterback Matt Jones ran for 132 yards, making him the all-time leading rusher for a quarterback in Arkansas history with 1,786 yards ... In his last three games, Jones has completed 35-of-49 passes (71.4 percent) for 547 yards and 7 TDs ... Tony Bua was credited with three tackles against NMSU and now becomes Arkansas' career tackles leader with 382 ... Senior SE George Wilson has caught at least one pass in 23 consecutive games ... The Razorbacks are 17-7 (70.8 percent) in November under Houston Nutt ... Under Nutt, the Razorbacks have 26 wins by 20-points-or-more.
AUBURN TIGERS (6-5, 4-3 SEC)
WR Jeris McIntyre extended his streak of games with at least two receptions to 11. It is tied for the third longest such streak by an Auburn player since 1990 (Ronney Daniels in 11 games in 1999, Karsten Bailey in 22 games from 1996-98, Frank Sanders in 21 games from 1993-94) ... McIntyre had five catches for 24 yards ... Auburn's string of five-straight wins over top 10 teams when entering the game unranked was snapped with the loss to Georgia ... RB Carnell Williams became the 11th Auburn player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season and now has 1,035 yards rushing.
FLORIDA GATORS (8-3, 6-2 SEC)
Ciatrick Fason rushed for a career-high 190 yards against South Carolina, the 10th highest total in Gator history ... Fason becomes the first Gator to hit the 190-yard mark since Errict Rhett ran for 193 in 1992 against Kentucky ... Freshmen have accounted for 13 of UF's 42 TDs this season (30.9 percent) ... The Gators have shutout opponents in the third quarter in five straight games ... Ole Miss was the last team to score in the third quarter against Florida - a 23-yard field goal ... Florida has outscored opponents in the third quarter, 85-35, this season ... CB Keiwan Ratliff has had an interception in five straight games.
GEORGIA BULLDOGS (8-2, 5-2 SEC)
Georgia has won 13 straight at Sanford Stadium, the second longest such streak in school history ... The Bulldogs lead the SEC in Red Zone Defense, allowing just nine scores in 20 chances (45.0 percent) ... UGA has allowed just four TDs and five FGs in the Red Zone ... Georgia leads the SEC in plays per drive (6.02) but is 12th in TDs per offensive drive (19.8 percent) ... Bulldogs also lead the SEC in stopping opponents 3-plays-and-out, doing so 43.1 percent of the time (53-of-123) ... The Bulldog defense has held opponents scoreless in 20 quarters this season (50.0 percent of all quarters played).
KENTUCKY WILDCATS (4-6, 1-5 SEC)
Senior WR Derek Abney caught four passes for 56 yards against Vanderbilt and now has 190 in his career, moving past Brutus "Boo" Mitchell of Vanderbilt (188) for fifth placed on the SEC career receiving list ... Abney had 166 all-purpose yards, giving him 5,665 in his career and moving him past James Brooks of Auburn (5,596) into fourth place on the SEC all-purpose yardage list ... QB Jared Lorenzen was 15-35 for 234 yards and a TD ... He now has 10,096 career passing yards and becomes only the fourth player in SEC history to top the 10,000-yard plateau. With one TD pass, Lorenzen has 78 TD passes in his career.
LSU TIGERS (9-1, 5-1 SEC)
LSU has now held seven of its 10 opponents scoreless in the first half of games this season. (UL-Monroe, Arizona, Western Illinois, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Auburn and Alabama) ... The last time the Tigers began the season with a 9-1 record was 30 years ago during the 1973 season ... LSU has now won at least nine games in a single-season 21 times in its history ... LSU won by 24 points or more for the fourth game in a row ... It marks the first time LSU has won by 24 points or more in four consecutive games since the Tigers won the first four games of the 1911 season.
OLE MISS REBELS (8-2, 6-0 SEC)
Ole Miss has its first 6-0 start in the SEC since 1962, when the Rebels finished 6-0 in conference play ... The win extends the Rebels' win streak to six games, their longest since 1990 ... Ole Miss is now 8-2 on the year to mark the first time since 1992 that Ole Miss has won eight games in the regular-season ... With the three receptions vs. Auburn, WR Chris Collins set a new Ole Miss standard for receptions in a season ... Collins now has 58 receptions to eclipse the previous mark of 56 set by LeMay Thomas in 1995 ... QB Eli Manning has now thrown at least one TD pass in 30-of-34 career starts.
MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS (2-8, 1-5 SEC)
Senior WR Justin Jenkins leads the SEC with 839 receiving yards (57 catches), an average of 83.9 yards per game ... His nine receiving TDs also leads the SEC ... Sophomore RB Nick Turner is second in the SEC in all-purpose yards, accumulating 1,460 in 10 games ... Turner had 344 all-purpose yards against Tennessee, the third highest total in SEC history ... His 25.4 kickoff return average also leads the SEC ... State is second in the SEC in Red Zone Offense, scoring on 25 of 28 possessions (89.3 percent) ... Opponents have scored 110 points off of MSU turnovers this season, a league-high.
SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS (5-6, 2-6 SEC)
The 73 yard punt return by Chavez Donnings for a TD against Florida was the longest scoring punt return by South Carolina since Dick Harris returned a punt 77 yards against Georgia Tech in 1971 ... The Donnings return was the first scoring return of a punt by the Gamecocks since Derek Watson blocked a Florida punt in 2000 and returned it two yards for a touchdown ... The 64 yard third period punt by Josh Brown was his longest of the season ... Daccus Turman rushed for 122 yards on 20 attempts. His second triple digit rushing game of the season ... USC has four triple digit individual rushing games this season.
TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS (8-2, 4-2 SEC)
QB Casey Clausen tied a UT single-game record with five touchdown passes (tied with 3 others) ... It's the third time he's thrown for 5 TDs in a game ... WR Chris Hannon's three TD receptions tied UT's single-game mark with six others ... After two interceptions and one fumble recovery against Miss. State, Vols are +8 in turnovers last three games ... UT did not lose a turnover against the Bulldogs ... Vols scored first against State, improving their mark to 98-10-2 since 1990 when getting on the scoreboard first ... RB Derrick Tinsley scored his third touchdown in last four games on a 12-yard TD pass from Casey Clausen.
VANDERBILT COMMODORES (2-9, 1-6 SEC)
Vanderbilt's 28-17 win against Kentucky is the first Southeastern Conference win for head coach Bobby Johnson in 15 tries. The win is the first league win for the Commodores since a 24-20 victory at Kentucky (11/11/2000), snapping a 23-game SEC losing streak... The win is also the first for Vanderbilt against a SEC foe at home since a 17-14 victory over South Carolina (10/24/98) ... Wide receiver Erik Davis caught 3 passes for 39 yards and a career-high two touchdowns against Kentucky ... Jovan Haye registered a pair of sacks against Kentucky giving him a team-high eight on the season.
