Back from Bama, What's the Latest?

Markus Manson has been a Florida commitment for months now, but it's been widely speculated that he would make a switch to the Crimson Tide. After his official visit this weekend, where does he stand now?

Markus Manson is back from his visit to Alabama and said, "It was really nice. I had a lot of fun! I spent a lot of time with Coach Cheese (Harbison), Coach Shula and Coach Woods."

Manson was not shy about his time at the Capstone when asked what he liked about his visit. "Everything. I just had so much fun all weekend. I loved being around my player host, A.C. Carter. He's real cool and a down-to-earth type guy. He is someone you can just be around your entire life. I had a great time with him," replied Manson.

Alabama's coaching staff was also impressive and Manson stated, "I really like them all. They are all great coaches and good people to be around. I spent most of my time with Coach Cheese (Harbison)."

Manson added what he liked about the Alabama football program, "The tradition. Alabama football speaks for itself."

Still committed to Florida? "Yes," stated Manson.

A switch could still happen on signing day because Manson said, "I don't know yet. I will know on signing day."

If he is going to make a change, it looks like it would be a Signing Day announcement, but for now, Manson remains a Gator.
