Top Alabama QB Names Three Favorites

<b>Chad Kilgore</b> of Oakman High School is one of the Top Quarterback Prospects in Alabama. He names Three early leaders.

Chad Kilgore, 6'3", 215, QB, from Oakman HS, is one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Alabama for the class of 2005.

His stats from his junior year have turned a few heads, and his mailbox is filled with letters from a long list of schools including Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Ole Miss, Southern Cal, Nebraska, Colorado and UAB.

As a junior he had 2,585 yards passing with 35 touchdowns against only eight interceptions. He has good mobility and rushed for 200 yards as well.

Kilgore has numerous honors from his junior campaign that include: Birmingham Touchdown Club Player of the Week, Runner Up 2A Back of the Year, All-State, and 2A Super 12 All-County

Kilgore admits he has favorites and said, "Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas are my three favorites right now."

 Kilgore likes the SEC and added, "Number one, they are in the SEC. The SEC is the best conference in college football. I have always grown up wanting to play in the SEC."

Kilgore has put some thought into his top three and said, "I like Auburn because of the location. I like how the first thing you see is the stadium. I like Arkansas because I feel like they want me. I have never been so I don't know how great it is. I have been an Alabama fan my whole life and have always wanted to play there."

As a junior, Kilgore attended several Alabama and Auburn games and one UAB game.
