"I have offers from Alabama and Notre Dame," Evan Cardwell said. "My top five is Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Tennessee."
Which team sits at the top currently?
"Alabama is #1. They were the first to offer me. I went to A-Day and I
really felt at home, but I'm still open right now. I want to see what's out
Evan grew up in a Bama family.
"I have always been a Bama fan. Most of my family are all Tide fans. There
is definitely a lot of influence there with them."
What does he like about the other schools on his list?
LSU: "We went to junior day and I really liked the campus and the
facilities. Plus, they are the National Champions."
Auburn: "I visited there for a practice and the coaches really made me feel
Ole Miss: "I went to another junior day there as well. They seem to have
the program going in the right direction."
Tennessee: "I have always liked Tennessee. I haven't had a chance to go
up there yet though."
What does Cardwell feel he does best on the football field?
"I have a high intensity level. I just try to move around and make plays."
Brooks High School has produced Crimson Tide brothers Will and Freddie Roach
over the past few years, and it looks as if Evan Cardwell could be following
their trail to Tuscaloosa as well. It's going to be tough for anyone to catch
Bama in this race.
