Three Offers for Top Alabama TE

Tommy Trott is one of the top players in the state of Alabama for the Class of 2005. He is now holding three offers.

"I have offers from Auburn, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt,"Tommy Trott said.

Trott is not naming a leader and said, "Not right now." But, he does have several schools he is considering and stated, "I am considering Alabama, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Miami, Nebraska, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, and Vanderbilt."

Trott did not have a chance to attend any spring games due to his baseball schedule but did make a few practices. I attended Alabama's Junior Day, Georgia Tech's Junior Day and I went down to one of Auburn's practices," Trott replied.

Trott did have the opportunity to speak to a few coaches when he went on the unofficial visits. Trott said, "I spoke with the recruiting coach at Alabama. At Georgia Tech, I spoke with Coach Nix and Coach Gailey. When I went to Auburn, I spoke with several coaches."

Trott is considering several out-of-state schools and is open at this point. "It could go either way. Most of my friends go to schools in-state but I have friends scattered around at different colleges. It doesn't really matter to me," Trott admitted.

A few things Trott will consider, "the football program and how I will fit into the system. I will also look at academics but most schools are going to have a good academic program," stated Trott.

Being a outstanding baseball player for Trinity Presbyterian has kept him busy this spring. "We finished second in the area. We thought we would have a better season, but we did make the play-offs," Trott replied.

Trott has not finalized his summer camp plans.
