Alabama TE Picks Up 2 More Offers

The offers continue to roll in for Alabama Tight End Charles Hoke. Hoke is a big tight end from Briarwood Christian in Birmingham that has become one of the most highly recruited players in the state.

"I have received new offers from Louisville and Georgia Tech," Charles Hoke said.

"Georgia Tech called my coach the other day and told him they wanted me to call them. I called and they offered me the scholarship. They watched my film and told me how I would do a good job playing tight end for them," Hoke said.

Now that Georgia Tech has offered, Hoke stated, "I really like Georgia Tech a lot. They have a really good academic program to go along with their athletic program."

Louisville was next in line to offer Hoke. "Louisville sent a letter to my school last week offering me a scholarship. I don't really know that much about Louisville. I know about Coach Petrino and how he came from Auburn," Hoke added.

Hoke has a nice list of favorites and that list may increase. "Alabama, Georgia Tech, Auburn, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida, and Notre Dame are my favorites. I don't have a leader right now," Hoke said.

Briarwood Christian begins spring training next week.
