"I have been so busy with schoolwork and doing all of my homework that I have a stack of mail I have not been able to get to yet. I might have an offer from one of the schools," Dezmon Bone said.
"I'm getting mail from just about everywhere. New letters that I have
received recently are from Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma,
Duke, Princeton, Harvard and Yale," added Bone.
Bone may not know if the stack of mail holds an offer but he does know, "I
have received the most letters from Alabama. They are showing a lot of interest
in me," Bone replied.
This spring, Bone's only unofficial visit was to Alabama's A-Day game. "I
wanted to go to a few other places, but I have been busy with schoolwork . I
have not been able to go out on the weekend. I'm ready for summer to get
here," Bone stated.
Butler High School has been a popular spot for college coaches. Bone said,
"Coaches from Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama and Auburn all came by to
watch me practice. "
Bone is not naming a leader and said, "I don't have a favorite. I'm wide
open with any college right now."
Bone would like to add more camps to his schedule but he had to narrow his
choices. "I plan to go to Alabama, UAB and Ole Miss. I was going to go to a
few others but they were all on the same date as another camp," Bone added.
Butler will travel to Buckhorn for a spring game on May 13.
