"There were about twenty teams, and the top eight teams made it to the big tournament. We were in the top eight, but we lost all of our games in the tournament (of eight). There was a lot of competition and I really enjoyed it," Trott said.
Trott was on Auburn's campus and did get to speak to a few of the coaches. "I talked to Coach Whitt a lot. He tried to introduce me to all the coaches. I met most of them."
Next stop, Tuscaloosa. "I'm going to Alabama's Senior Camp on the 19th. I will also try to go to Miami's camp. I might fly down there. I have such a busy schedule this summer, I might not be able to go," Trott added.
Trott has not received any additional written offers but added, "I have recently received verbal offers from LSU, Ole Miss, and Clemson. They all said over the phone that offers were on the way."
Trott is not going to show his hand just yet. "I'm pretty much wide open. I'm trying to narrow down my list now."
Look for this to be an in-state battle...maybe.
