Kickoff Times Set

Kickoff times for Alabama's first three home football games have been set, as well as the October 16 Homecoming game with Southern Miss, according to Athletics Director Mal Moore. Bama's first three games will be at night with one of them nationally televised.

The September 4 Alabama season opener against Utah State will kickoff at 6 p.m. (CDT), while the Tide's SEC opener against Mississippi on September 11 will be an 8 p.m. start on ESPN2. The September 18 game with Western Carolina will be another 6 p.m. kickoff.

"The opening game at Alabama is always an exciting event," said Tide AD Mal Moore, "and night games at Bryant-Denny Stadium are a spectacle. We expect a great crowd."

The Tide's Homecoming game with Southern Miss is slated for a 2 p.m. kickoff.

This will mark Alabama's eighth appearance on ESPN2 and the second time Alabama and Ole Miss have been televised on "The Deuce."
