Tide Offers Prattville Defensive Lineman

Prattville High School is loaded with talented and the best of the bunch may be star defensive end, Bobby Greenwood. Greenwood attended Alabama's Senior Camp and came away with an offer.

"I had a great time at the camp," Bobby Greenwood said. "I spoke with Coach Randolph and Coach Shula, and they offered me a scholarship. They have a really nice program. I have a lot of friends going there next year. I have several former teammates playing for them. It will be a hard choice, but I'm really high on Alabama right now. I really like the coaches. I really enjoyed working with Coach Randolph."

Alabama is high on Greenwood's list, but other schools are still being considered. "I'm looking at Florida State. They have invited me to a camp in two weeks. I will be going down there," said Greenwood. "I'm also considering Southern Miss and Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt has told me they have an offer for me. I have not received anything in writing."

Greenwood has been hitting the camp circuit and has made trips to Nashville and Baton Rouge. "LSU was a tough camp. It was more like a boot camp. They really worked us hard. Vanderbilt was more laid back," Greenwood added.

When asked how the camps compare, Greenwood replied, "I would have to say LSU is the best camp I have been to because it was a three day camp. I really enjoyed Alabama's."

Greenwood will visit two more camps and be finished. "I am going to Southern Miss's camp next week. I will attend Auburn's camp in July."

Greenwood thinks he will wait until the end of his season before making a decision.
