Jimmy Barnes is one of the top quarterbacks in the state of California. The Los Alamitos high school quarterback attended Alabama's Senior Camp and really liked Alabama.
"The campus was amazing. I loved everything about it. The campus, trees,
all the green grass. Everything was amazing," said Barnes.
Barnes arrived in Tuscaloosa on Thursday prior to the camp. He had the
opportunity to spend some quality time with the Alabama coaching staff. "I
really liked the entire coaching staff. They are a great group of guys I would
love to play for. They are honest and they tell you straight up how it is,"
"I received several new offers before the trip to Tuscaloosa. I just want
to keep those in the family for right now."
When asked about a decision, Barnes replied, "I'm still thinking about it.
I have a while to think about it. I know I will decide before the end of the
summer. It will probably be very soon though."
Barnes will not attend any more camps. He is continuing to work-out and working
on his speed.
