Georgia OL Names a Leader After Camp

Marlon Davis is an offensive lineman from the state of Georgia that has begun to pick up some big offers. He updates his list of offers and names a leader.

"I went to Alabama and they offered me," said Marlon Davis. "I am very high on Alabama, and I have always liked them. It was a very good camp. We did a lot of different things and I enjoyed them all," said Davis.

When asked to name a favorite, Davis replied, "Alabama is my favorite. I love the tradition. I have always loved hearing about Coach Bear Bryant and all the tradition that he brought to the program. They have a really good medical program, and that is what I plan to major in. I really like Coach Shula and Coach Connelly. It is very close to home. It is only about three hours away. My parents have always liked Alabama, but they are going to let me make my own decision."

Davis also likes the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.

"I really like Georgia as well. I am going to their camp next week, and I am hoping to get an offer from them. They have been one of my favorites. I am also considering Tennessee and Florida," said Davis.

Davis plans to look at several things before he makes his commitment.

"I want to go somewhere with a good education program, especially a good medical program. I will be looking at the coaching staffs and how much I like them. I want to go somewhere that I have the opportunity for early playing time, and I want someone to tell me how I will be able to contribute."

Do not look for Davis to make an announcement anytime soon.

"I am going to wait until after my senior season before I make my commitment," said Davis.

Davis currently holds offers from Alabama, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Middle Tennessee State.
