Tallahassee DB Has Offers, Favorites

Kent Richardson is a defensive back from Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida. Richardson has received four scholarship offers and names an early leader.

"I have offers from Iowa State, UAB, Troy State, and Louisville. I would have to say that Louisville is my favorite right now. They have a good football and academic program," said Kent Richardson.

Richardson is also considering several other schools.

"I am considering Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, and Alabama. Auburn and Florida are showing the most interest in me."

Richardson shared his thoughts on his other favorites.

"Auburn and Florida have both told me their specific plan for me on defense, and I really like that."

"I have always wanted to play for Tennessee."

"Arkansas has a really good defensive program there."

"Alabama has a really good academic program, and I plan to major in computer science. I have heard they have a great school."

This summer, the Florida defensive back has tripped out-of-state.

"I have been to Alabama's camp. I thought it was really good. I was able to meet some of the coaches and players. I really liked them. I am planning to go to Auburn's camp on July 17,"said Richardson.

Richardson is not hesitant in discussing what will factor into his college decision.

"I will base my decision on playing time. I want to get in and play early. I am very aggressive on the ball. I'm not slow, and I have great reaction time.

Richardson knows what he needs to improve.

"I would like to improve on my footwork and getting to the ball quicker when the play is going away from me."
