"I committed to Alabama," said Barron Huber. "I committed to Alabama last night; I committed to Coach Shula."
When asked about what made Alabama his choice, Huber talked excitedly about the
Crimson Tide and the people involved with the program.
"They have a coaching staff that is full of winners. They have been winners
in the past; they're winners now, and they are going to be winners in the
future. I am a winner and I want to be around winners. They have a beautiful
campus down there. they have facilities that are second to none. I was more than
impressed with the way they take care of them and the respect that the coaches
and the players have for them."
Huber was at Alabama's summer camp in June, and he plans to be back at least one
more time for an official visit. Will he take any other officials?
"I told the coaching staff that my parents have raised me to be a man of my
word, and I committed to Alabama. I won't take any official visits anywhere
else. I'll take my official visit to Alabama, and that's where I want to
