South Hot 100 TE Taking Visits

Charles Hoke is one of the top tight end prospects in the South. A member of TheInsiders South Hot 100, Hoke has made two unofficial visits in the past week.

"I have been on vacation in North Carolina the past week. I took unofficial visits to Duke and North Carolina. I really liked both of them. They each had a different aspect," said Charles Hoke.

Hoke was able to speak with a few coaches during his visits.

"I spoke with Coach Roof at Duke. I really liked him a lot. At North Carolina, I spoke with the Head Coach, Coach Bunting, and the on-campus recruiting coordinator. Coach Bunting is a really neat guy. He has an impressive resume. He is a good person."

The Auburn camp was last on Hoke's schedule. "I went to the Auburn camp a few weeks ago. It was a really good camp. I enjoyed it. I spoke with Coach Tuberville and Coach Price."

"Auburn offered me about a couple of days after the camp. I really like Auburn. They are an in-state school, and I have always followed them. I will definitely be considering them when I make my decision," said Hoke.

Hoke is still weighing his options before he starts to narrow his list.

"I have still not narrowed my list. I probably will start to in a couple of weeks."

A decision time frame is still uncertain for the star tight end.

"It could possibly come after the season. I will just have to see how everything goes," said Hoke.

For the first game of the year, Briarwood will host Vestavia.
