Top 100 Wide Receiver Takes Visits

O.J. Murdock, from Middleton High in Tama, Florida, is one of the top wide receivers in the country. TheInsiders has Murdock ranked as the eighth best wide receiver in the nation and a four-star rating.

This summer, Murdock took two unofficial visits.

"The only visits I took were to Alabama and Auburn. They both went really good. I was able to tour the campus and meet some players and coaches," Murdock said.

A lifelong fan of the Florida Gators, Murdock is still considering several schools.

"I would say from a fan standpoint, Florida is my favorite. I am considering Miami, Florida, Alabama, LSU, and South Carolina. Those are really the only schools that I am strongly considering."

When asked about a decision, Murdock replied, "I had planned early, to make my decision early, but now I am going to wait until signing day."

Murdock plans to attend some big time games this fall.

"I am going to the LSU/Florida game and the Florida State/Miami game. I would also like to make a trip up to Alabama. Those are the only games I know for sure that I am going to so far," said Murdock.

Murdock is set for his final year of high school football.

"Today was our first day in pads. We did a really good job on offense. I am really excited about this season. My grades are really good and I am ready to go," Murdock said.
