Alabama DL Down to Four

Prattville, Ala.--Bobby Greenwood, who is one of the best defensive end prospects in the state of Alabama, is making some moves for his Prattville team this fall. He has also picked up another big offer and narrowed his list of favorites to Four.

"I received an offer from Florida State about three weeks ago. It's a big one. It's just insane. Coach Bowden is a legend and all the coaches are really nice. It would be fun to work with them," said Bobby Greenwood.

With the new offer, Greenwood is now considering four schools.

"I'm down to Florida State, Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Auburn. It's hard to name a favorite. I will not have a favorite until after I attend a few games. I will probably wait until the end of my season before I make a decision."

This fall, Greenwood will attend several games.

"I am going to Vanderbilt's first game against South Carolina. I am going to the Alabama/ Mississippi State game and the Florida State/UAB game," Greenwood added.

"I didn't go to Alabama's scrimmage on Saturday. I have not been anywhere yet. I am really not sure yet if I will go to any."

Prattville High School looks to be the team to beat in 6A. On Thursday, Prattville had a chance to showcase their team in a jamboree. Prattville played Tuscaloosa County and Opelika.

When asked about the game, Greenwood replied, "It went pretty good. We beat both teams. I did pretty good. I was concentrating more on getting off my blocks. We needed the scrimmage for our team to come together. After seeing us play, the other night, I think we can win the state championship. We play Wetumpka at home this week."

"They have got me playing tackle right now," Greenwood explains. "I don't really know (where I will play this year) because at the jamboree last week they moved me around a lot. I even played a little nose guard last week."

Greenwood adds that he is not having any problems with the move inside on short notice and that no matter where he plays this season all of the colleges that are recruiting him want him to play defensive end in college

Prattville features several Division 1 players and Wetumpka will feature Jay Robinson.
