California LB Picks the Tide

Prince Hall of Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley, California, made a commitment to the University of Alabama on Wednesday night.

Prince Hall is a 6-0, 240 pound linebacker and considered one of the best in California and in the country. "I made commitment last night to Alabama. I talked to Coach Connelly and Coach Shula and told them I was ready to commit," said Hall.

Hall had several reasons for choosing the Tide.

"I felt like it was a really good school for me to go to. They have a really good coaching staff. I like Coach Shula. He is a good coach and seems like a really good guy. The thing that stood out about Alabama was they wanted me for defense and that is what I want to play."

Hall is 100% solid on his commitment.

"Yea, this is going to be it for me. I will not go on any other visits," said Hall.

Hall committed to Alabama over a hosts of other offers.

"I chose Alabama over my other top offers from Oklahoma, Arizona, Arizona State, and Kansas State."

When asked about a trip to Tuscaloosa, Hall replied, "I will not be able to come until after my football season is over, but that is going to be the only place I go too," said Hall.

During Hall's junior campaign, as a fullback, Hall rushed for 798 yards and 13 touchdowns. This Friday, Moreno Valley will play their first game at Home against Aorora Valley.
