Three to the Front for Tommy Trott

Tommy Trott is one of the top tight ends in the country. The four star tight end is a member of TheInsiders National Hot 100 and is the top overall prospect in Alabama. Trott was in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama/Ole Miss game, and he has moved three teams to the front of his list.

"It was fun. It was a big win for them," said Tommy Trott.

After the game, Trott was able to speak with a few coaches and players.

"I spoke with Coach Shula for a few seconds. I talked to Coach Ungerer for a while. He was telling me how they really are trying to throw to their tight ends more and hoped I would come to Alabama. I talked to a few players. Clint Johnston walked up to me and talked to me for a little bit."

Three schools are now in the lead for Trott.

"I now have three frontrunners: Alabama, Auburn, and Miami. I know I will go to all those schools for official visits. I will try to pick two other schools. I want to go on all my visits before I make a decision. Alabama and Auburn are my top two over Miami. It's really a tie between those two right now," said Trott.

Though the two in-state schools are favorites, Miami is making a strong push for Trott to leave the state.

"I am really starting to consider Miami. I talked to Coach Cristobal the other night and he put me on speaker phone with five other coaches. I am definitely going to check them out," Trott said.

Trott will continue with a full fall calendar.

"Next weekend, I am going to the Auburn/LSU game. I know I am going to go to the Florida/LSU game. I am definitely going to the Alabama/Auburn game, but it might not be a recruiting visit. I will probably just go with my friends," said Trott.

Trinity Presbyterian has started the season 3-0. Trott has been impressive. For the season, Trott has caught 26 passes for 258 yards. Last Friday night, Trott caught four passes for 89 yards, scoring two touchdowns in a 60-0 win over Bullock County. This Friday, Trinity Presbyterian will host Daleville.
