Terrell Smith of Clay-Chalkville is considered one of the top overall prospects in Alabama. The star athlete was able to spend time in Tuscaloosa to watch Alabama cruise past Ole Miss.

"I really liked it. I went down there with Desmond (Desmond Jennings). We had a good time," said Terrell Smith.

"I talked to Coach Cheese (Harbison) and Coach Rader. They both seemed pretty cool. I talked to Tyrone Prothro and D.J. Hall. I really liked seeing the young receivers out there playing," Smith added.

When asked about a decision, Smith replied, "I am going to wait. I don't know yet when I will make a decision."

Smith is planning to attend a few other games.

"I am going to the Auburn-LSU game, this weekend. I know I am going to a Clemson game. I don't know who they play, but I know it's a home game," said Smith.

Several coaches are making their phone calls.

"I just got off the phone with Coach Bowden from Clemson a little while ago. Coach Price from Auburn has called, Coach Hobby (Ole Miss), Coach Cheese (Harbison, Alabama), and Coach Jimbo Fisher (LSU) have all called."

Clay-Chalkville is 2-1. The last two weeks, Clay-Chalkville have been in some tough games.

"Yea, we pulled it out last Friday night 23-21 over Huffman. They scored with 35 seconds left in the game. We drove down the field. I caught two passes. One was a 54 yard gain where I caught and ran with the ball. Then, I caught another pass for 22 yards. We spiked the ball with two seconds left. We got them to jump offsides. Our kicker came in and won the game for us."

"Two weeks ago, we got beat by Tuscaloosa County. We could not stop David McCants. He was running all over us. I don't care what anybody says, he is good! We play Shades Valley at Home this Friday. They are 0-3, but have a really good quarterback and running back," said Smith.
