"I have set up my first official visit with Michigan State, November the 5th-7th. They are playing Ohio State that Saturday. I am in the process of setting up an official visit with Memphis. I have talked to the Alabama coaches about a visit, but I have not set one up yet," said Emory Jones.
Jones has seen his list of offers increase since the beginning of the season.
"I now have offers from Alabama, Michigan State, Memphis, Mississippi State, Toledo, and Auburn."
The JuCo star receiver has three schools at the top of his list.
"My favorite is Michigan State, but I also really like Alabama. I like
Memphis too. I am going to try and set up my last two official visits with
schools I have never been to. I don't know where they will be yet," said
When asked about a decision, Jones replied, "I am going to wait until after
my season is over. I am wanting to take my visits and decide where would be the
best place for me. My last game is the first Thursday of November."
Last week, Northeast lost their first game of the season and hopes to rebound
this week as they host Jones for Homecoming.
"We lost our first game last week against Mississippi Delta 17-16. We
missed two extra points, three field goals, and had a punt returned for a
touchdown called back. We will be alright though. I have been having a pretty
good year. I have 40 receptions for 500 yards with only one touchdown. I have
not seen single coverage since the Coahoma game," said Jones.
