Wes Brown is considered one of the top lineman in the southeast. The four star recruit enjoyed his trip to Tuscaloosa.
"I went to the Alabama/Southern Miss game. I went with a few teammates down
there. It was very enjoyable. I was able to talk to all the coaches. They are
all cool guys and it was good to talk to them," said Brown.
Though Brown made the trip to Tuscaloosa, the star lineman is a solid commitment
"I am still 100% committed to Tennessee. I talked to Coach Chavis, last
week, and I am going to try and think about official visits. My dad is out of
town right now, when he gets back, we are going to sit down and talk about it.
Right now, I am just attending games. I haven't really thought about official
"All the coaches really want me to come visit and make sure I made the
right decision. They are telling me the door is still open for me. It could be a
possibility I visit Alabama and Auburn, but I just don't know yet. LSU, Georgia,
Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee are the only coaches that still call me,"
Brown will travel to Knoxville for the weekend.
"I am going to the Alabama/Tennessee game. I can't miss that game. You can
throw all records aside. You never know who is going to have the upper hand in
that game. I am going to go to other Tennessee Home games and I want to go to
the Alabama/Auburn game. My mom and dad have always wanted to go to the Iron
Bowl. I got a chance to go a few years ago, and it was a lot of fun. Just to see
how mean the fans are to each other was pretty funny."
Athens is having a great season and Brown's stats have definitely helped.
"We are doing good. We are 4-3, but we are 4-1 in our region. We beat Curry
this past week, 35-6. We play Walker this week at Home. After that game, we will
have one more region game. I have around 45 tackles with seven or eight sacks.
Hopefully, we will have home field advantage in the first couple rounds of the
playoffs," said Brown.
