Coliseum Demolition Underway

The two major ongoing athletics' facility projects are the renovations to Coleman Coliseum and Bryant Hall. Bryant Hall is nearing completion, with flooring installation the last major step for the interior. Coleman Coliseum is in an early demolition stage.

The walls on the east and west side of the building are being torn down in order to make room for a new entrance on the east side and expanded office area on the west side.

Work on the expansion of Bryant-Denny Stadium has not begun, but is expected to be underway in the coming weeks.

Before the expansion of Coleman Coliseum there must be some demolition. Here crews are working on the east side of the coliseum, where there will be an expanded entrance and club level.

The new entrance to Coleman Colisuem will be in the center of the east wall of the building. The club level will also be on this side of the building.

The rear east side entrance of the Coliseum is where fans enter for Alabama volleyball games at "The Cave". The gym is also used as a practice facility for men and women's basketball.
