Alabama Adds Running Back Commitment

Glen Coffee, 6-1, 205 pounds, of Fort Walton Beach High School emerged this season as one of the top running backs in the state of Florida. Wednesday night, Coffee made his decision.

"He committed to Alabama last night, around 8 p.m. He talked to Coach Connelly and told him about his decision. Coach Shula called him later on in the night to verify his commitment," said GLen Coffee Sr.

Glen Coffee had planned to wait and take all of his visits before making a decision.

"Basically, we have been praying and trying to decide the best situation for him. It's his decision where he wants to go and we as parents were there for support and trying to help him make that decision."

As a senior, Coffee rushed for over 1,800 yards with 350 yards receiving and scored twenty nine touchdowns.
